Michelle Horne, AICI CIP

spring3Michelle Horne helps clients learn to “get it together” everyday. As President of Putting It Together Image Consulting, she works with individuals to define their style identity and use that image to create success in professional and personal situations. Michelle is known for her thoughtful, thorough, but always fun approach to helping clients take ownership of their authentic images.

Michelle focuses on one-on-one, personalized image consulting as well as corporate image consulting workshops targeted to helping individuals use personal style to business advantage. She has been an independent image consultant since 1996. Her previous career in human resources has made Michelle particularly aware of the importance of honouring a person’s unique personality (their “personal funk”) while at the same time helping them fit well in their environments.

In addition to a Business Administration Diploma in Human Resource Management, Michelle holds numerous certifications from the Image Institute. She is an Associate Member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI, Toronto Chapter), was named the 2003 Chapter Member of the Year, and was the organization’s VP Chapter Relations for 2007-2009.

Michelle has served as the AICI International Canadian Regional Advisor and on the Continuing Education Units Committee. She also served in a two-year position (2007-2009) on AICI’s International Board as Vice President of Chapter Relations.

In 2010, Michelle Horne became one of only two authorized Universal Style System trainers in Canada.

Michelle lives in a historic home outside of Ottawa with her husband, Robert and son, James. Michelle loves reading, movies, cooking and entertaining at home.
